Can I keep tracked plant on the yard?

Yes. The bays are compacted hardstanding rated for tracked and wheeled plant — excavators, dumpers, telehandlers and rollers are all routine. Tell us the heaviest machine you'll be standing and we'll place you on a suitable bay.

Is there room for a low-loader to load and unload?

Yes. Access roads and bays are laid out for artic and beavertail access, so you can load, unload and turn on site rather than blocking a public road.

Can I store materials as well as machinery?

Yes — aggregates, blocks, palletised materials, scaffolding and formwork are all fine on an open bay. Anything that wants a roof (hand tools, consumables, fixings) goes in a steel container on the same site.

Can I take extra space just for one contract?

That's the normal case. Everything is on rolling monthly terms, so take the extra bays for the duration of the job and hand them back with 30 days' notice when it completes.

Our sites are laid on compacted hardstanding with gated palisade perimeters, floodlighting and 24/7 CCTV with intrusion alerts — so a 3-tonne excavator and a pallet of blocks can sit on the same bay without either becoming somebody's weekend project.

Because everything runs on rolling monthly terms, a plant hire yard can flex with the order book. Take extra bays for a big contract, hand them back when it completes, and pay nothing for the space you are not using. No dilapidations, no five-year lease, no solicitor.
